Aloha offers two distinct review themes designed to help you capture patient feedback while effectively managing your online reputation. You have the option to choose which one works best for your practice.

This guide is for you if you want to change your feedback process and are asking:
"How can we have patients get the review link right away?"
"Can I turn off the step that asks patients to rate their service before asking for a review?"
"How can we send a review link directly to a patient?"
"We just want the link to our Google/Facebook review page sent out."
Understanding the Two Themes
Aloha offers two ways to collect patient feedback. Choosing the right one depends on your priority: reputation protection or speed.
Rating Theme (Recommended/Default): This acts as a "safety net." It asks for a private 1β5 star rating first. Only satisfied patients are prompted to leave public reviews, while negative feedback is sent directly to you to be handled privately.
Review Theme: This removes the private step and asks all patients receiving a request to leave a review.
Important Note: While the "Review" theme is faster for patients it removes your ability to privately handle negative feedback before it gets posted online. This theme has a higher probability of receiving public negative reviews.
β Switching From the Rating to Review Theme
Navigate to Feedback Settings. Go to the FEEDBACK tab in your Aloha account, then click on the Feedback Settings sub-tab.
Find the Theme Switch. At the top of the page, you will see the Feedback Theme section with a blue Rating toggle.
Switch to Review. Click the toggle to switch the theme from Rating to Review.
Save Your Changes. Be sure to click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the section.

Can I send some patients direct to review and others to the rating theme? | No, the theme setting is global and applies to all feedback requests sent from the Aloha.
