A guide on how to manage the public review sites (like Google and Facebook) that are presented to patients after they leave positive feedback.

✨ When You Need This Guide

This guide is for you when you need to control the links presented to your happy patients. Use this if:

  • You want to add a new online review site (like Google or Healthgrades) as an option for patients.

  • You want to add a "Check-In" link for a platform like Yelp.

  • You need to add a custom link to a site that isn't on the default list.

  • You need to remove a sharing link that you no longer use.

How It Works

After a patient leaves positive feedback, they are sent one of your Sharing Links and are encouraged to post a public review or check in on a social media site. This page gives you full control over which links you want to present to them.

You'll Need:

  • The direct URL (web address) for any custom site you wish to add.

βœ… How to Add a New Sharing Link

  1. Navigate to Feedback Settings. Go to FEEDBACK > Feedback Settings.

  2. Find the 'Sharing Links' Section. Scroll to the area where you can configure these links.

  3. To Add a Site from the Preset List:

    • Click the first dropdown and select Site.

    • In the next dropdown, choose the category: Review or Check-In.

    • A final dropdown will appear with a list of common sites. Select the one you want to add or choose Custom to add a different site.

  4. To Add a Custom Site:

    • If you selected CUSTOM from the final dropdown menu.

    • New fields will appear. Enter the Site Title and the full Site Link(URL).

    • You can optionally upload a logo for your custom site, but it is not required.

  5. Add the Link to Your List. Click the Add Element button. You will see your new site appear in the preview area with your other links.

  6. IMPORTANT: Save All Changes. After adding all desired links, scroll down and click the main Save Sharing Links button to apply all your updates.

βœ… How to Remove a Sharing Link

  1. Navigate to FEEDBACK > Feedback Settings and find the 'Sharing Links' section.

  2. In the preview area, hover your mouse over the box for the site you want to remove.

  3. An "x" will appear in the top-right corner of that box. Click the "x".

  4. The site will be removed from the list. Remember to click the main Save Sharing Links button to finalize the removal.

πŸ’‘ Common Questions

What You Might Notice

Why It's Happening

What to Do

I added a new link but forgot to click Save Sharing Links, and now it's gone.

Changes to the sharing links are not saved automatically when you click "Add Element." They are only finalized when you click the main save button.

Follow the steps above to add the link again and be sure to click the Save Sharing Links button at the bottom of the section before leaving the page.

I pasted a link for a custom site, but it's not working for patients.

The URL you pasted may be incorrect, incomplete, or a broken link.

Copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar when you are on the correct page of the target site. Then, go back to the Feedback Settings, paste the correct URL under the site you wish to update, and click Save Sharing Links..

How do I reorder the links that patients see?

The system displays the links in the order they were added.

To change the order, drag and drop the site boxes in the preview area into your preferred sequence. After reordering, be sure to click Save Sharing Links.

πŸŽ‰ You'll Know It's Working When:

  • You see your new and correctly ordered links in the preview area on the Feedback Settings page.

  • When you test the feedback process, the correct Sharing Links are presented to you after leaving positive feedback.
