How to Add Vacation Hours for Online/App Scheduling

How to adjust hours for when providers are out of office or the clinic is closed.

Are you going on vacation or have a specific date the office may be closed? Setting your holiday/vacation hours for online scheduling, in Aloha, is so simple. Follow the steps below to get started.

Setting Vacation Hours


To adjust the holiday/vacation hours, go to the SCHEDULING tab > SETTINGS page and underneath the default schedule you will see a button that says "Set Holiday/Vacation Hours".

Use the arrows at the top left and top right of the calendar to adjust between weeks and months.

Use your mouse to Click and Drag to create the desired times. ANY time that is hi-lighted represents the hours that you are open on that particular day. Make changes to each week and then click SAVE! (If you do not click save on one week and move to another to make more adjustments and then click SAVE on the second week, the first week's changes will not be SAVED).


Setting Provider Hours


To adjust the hours that the clinic can see patients go to SCHEDULING>SETTINGS and underneath the default schedule you will see a button that says "Set User Provider Schedules"

Click on the provider you will want to change the specific provider hours for.

Click the "Set Holiday/Vacation Hours" option. Use your mouse to Click and Drag to create the desired times. ANY time highlighted represents the hours that you are open on that particular day. Make changes to each week and then click SAVE! (If you do not click save on one week and move to another to make more adjustments and then click SAVE on the second week, the first week's changes will not be SAVED).
