When should you send a Bulk Message vs. build a Campaign?

The difference between a Bulk Message and a Campaign is small but both can save you A LOT of time. 


Bulk Messages


Bulk Messages are best sent if there is only 1 message that needs to be delivered to a large group of people. An example of this would be an office closure due to vacation, illness, etc.

Bulk Messages are easy to send out to people who had past appointments, future appointments or are previously tagged in Aloha.

CAMPAIGNS


Campaigns are best created when you need to schedule MULTIPLE messages to be delivered automatically.
​
Examples:

  • If you would like messages to be delivered before and after certain appointment types. 

  • You want to create a monthly nutrition blast to patients who want to receive additional information about this subject.

  • You want to invite patients to an upcoming event, give them a reminder and ask how the event was after it is over.
