Need to send a picture to your patients through a text, email, or a new campaign? This guide shows you how to quickly upload, manage, and delete images within your ALOHA account.

✨ When You Need This Guide

This guide is your go-to resource if you want to:

  • Add a personal touch to your patient communication with custom photos or graphics.

  • Clean up your library by removing old or unused image files.

  • Understand which file types work best for your messages and campaigns.

What This Covers (And What It Doesn't)

  • Covers: The step-by-step process for uploading images to your library and deleting them when they are no longer needed.

  • Doesn't Cover: Advanced photo editing or troubleshooting complex file issues.

Prerequisites/You'll Need

  • An active ALOHA account.

  • The image file you wish to upload (JPG, PNG, or GIF) saved on your computer.

📸 Uploading an Image or GIF

Follow these quick steps to get your images into ALOHA:

  1. Navigate to the Library: Go to the Gear Icon and then select Images.

  2. Start the Upload: Click the + Add Image button in the top right corner.

  3. Select Your File: Choose the image file you want to upload from your computer.

  4. Send Your Message: Once uploaded, you can insert these images into Text Messages, Bulk Messages, or Campaign Templates.

Important Note on GIFs: Carriers typically enforce a 1MB limit for outgoing GIFs. To ensure successful delivery and high quality, aim to keep your files under 600 KB.

🗑️ Deleting an Image

If you need to remove an image permanently, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Image: Go to the Gear Icon > Images and find the file you want to remove.

  2. Remove the File: Click the gray X to the far right of the image.

  3. Confirm: Click Yes in the pop-up window to permanently delete the image from your account.
