✨ When You Need This Guide

Want to make sure patients never miss an appointment? The Scheduling App lets patients sync upcoming visits straight to their personal phone calendar!

This guide is perfect if you're wondering:

  • “How do I sync my appointments to my phone calendar?”

  • “Can I get my clinic visits to show up in my Google or Apple calendar?”

  • “I said ‘No’ to syncing—can I turn it on later?”

  • “Where are the calendar settings in the app?”

🔄 Enable Calendar Sync During Registration

When a patient first registers for The Scheduling App, they’ll be prompted to turn on calendar syncing.

  1. Download and register using your phone number or email (see: How Patients Register for the App).

  2. When asked to allow calendar access, tap “Allow” to enable syncing.

What to expect: After accepting, your appointments will start appearing in your device’s default calendar (like Google Calendar or iCal) automatically.

⚙️ Turn On Sync Later from App Settings

If you skipped syncing during registration or changed your mind:

  1. Open The Scheduling App.

  2. Tap the “Settings” icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  3. Select “Modify Sync Settings.”

  4. Tap “Enable Sync.”
This gives the app permission to connect your upcoming appointments to your phone’s native calendar.

💡 Tip: If you don’t see your appointments after enabling sync, check your phone’s calendar permissions under device settings.

🎉 You’ll Know It Worked When:

  • Upcoming appointments appear in a personal calendar automatically

  • Patients receive phone calendar reminders for scheduled appointments

  • Appointment titles match what you see in The Scheduling App
