💡 When You Need This Guide
If a patient is having trouble using The Scheduling App or wants to manage how they receive communications, they can take action directly from the app. This article walks you through how they can report issues and manage text/email preferences themselves—no office action required.
How Patients Can Report Issues in The Scheduling App
If a patient contacts you with a complaint about something not working in the app, the fastest way to get support is to have them report the issue directly from within the app. This sends important device and usage info to Aloha Support so we can investigate.
🔄 Steps for Patients to Report an Issue:
Open The Scheduling App on their mobile device
Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the bottom-right corner
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page
Tap the “Report an Issue” drop-down
Select the issue that best describes what they’re experiencing
Once submitted, the issue is logged and sent to Aloha Support automatically—no need for additional follow-up from your staff.
📵 How Patients Can Opt In/Out of Texts and Emails
Patients can fully manage their own communication preferences through the app, without needing to contact your office.
Steps to Opt Out (or In):
Open The Scheduling App
Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) at the bottom-right
Locate the toggle switches for:
Texting
Emails
Push Notifications
Flip the switch OFF to stop receiving that type of message
That’s it! No further action is needed from the office
✅ If a patient changes their mind, they can return to the Settings page and flip the toggle back ON at any time.
