π‘ Common Scenarios
What a Patient Might Notice | Why It's Happening | What This Means for the Patient |
The Cancel Appointment button is not visible. | The office may have the self-cancellation feature disabled or have it set to disable itself for appointments that are within a certain timeframe (e.g., less than 24 hours away). | The patient will need to call the office directly to cancel or change their appointment.
The office can manage these preferences under Scheduling > Settings > Cancel Appointments. |
The Reschedule Appointment button is not visible. | Similar to cancellations, the ability to reschedule may be disabled by the office or the appointment may be too soon to allow for changes. | The patient will need to call the office directly to see if the appointment can be adjusted.
The office can manage these preferences under Scheduling > Settings > Reschedule Appointments. |
A specific appointment type or provider is not available to book. | The office configures which providers and services are available for online booking. The desired option may not be offered through the app. | The patient should call the office. Staff can help book the specific appointment they need over the phone. |
