Are you trying to send a picture and noticing the image is not being delivered? Phone carriers typically have a maximum image size of 1MB (Megabyte). Sending anything over may result in your message not being delivered.
Do you have an image over 1MB? No problem! Here is how you can resize your image:
You can also resize the dimensions by using your Windows or Apple picture editing tools. Typically, anything under 500x500 will be under 1MB
For Windows 11 and up you can follow these steps:
Open the image you want to resize using the Photos app
Click the ellipsis button on the menu bar at the top, then click resize
Choose from the default size options provided. You can also choose define custom dimensions if you want to set a specific size.

Select the "Resize" option from the side menu.
A small pop-up will appear, offering you three preset sizes for the picture. Pick one of them, or click "Define custom dimensions" at the bottom.

The preset sizes are measured in megapixels.
If you picked custom dimensions, a menu will appear that lets you set exactly how big you want the image to be. You can also choose how high quality the resized image will be β higher quality pictures look better, but have a bigger file size.

Set your new dimensions, and then click "Save resized copy."
