Images make communication with patients more personal, helpful, and clear—whether it’s a celebration graphic or a visual reminder.
How to Send an Image to a Patient
Go to the CONTACTS tab > CONVERSATIONS page
Use the Search bar to find the patient you want to message
In the New Message box at the bottom, click the picture icon 🖼️ next to the text field
Choose one of two options:
Add a message (optional), then click "Send Now"
📌 Note: If the picture icon is grayed out or missing, your account may not have the PREMIUM plan. Contact Aloha Support if you believe this is an error.
How to View Images Sent by Patients
When a patient texts you a photo:
Go to CONTACTS > CONVERSATIONS
Use the search bar to find the patient by name or number
– Or click directly on their name in your active conversation listLocate the image in the message thread and click on it
The image will automatically enlarge for easier viewing
🧐 This helps if the photo looks small or hard to read in the conversation feed.

The image appears in the conversation feed after sending
Patients can respond to the message with a confirmation or reaction
Clicking on a photo enlarges it in a pop-up view so it’s easy to read
You feel confident sending anything from x-rays to birthday flyers 🎈
