The centralized date field ensures that all date-related data across different metrics, charts, and tables within a report stays aligned.

Instead of setting dates individually for each widget, you can apply a single date range across the entire report — saving time and maintaining consistency.

Note: The Centralized date report does not apply to the Scorecard and Goal Tracking Chart.

Where to Find the Centralized Date Field

  • The centralized date field is located at the top of the Reports Listing page.

  • This makes it easy to apply a uniform date filter across all widgets in the report.

Step-by-Step Guide to Selecting a Date Range

Step 1: Open the Reports Listing Page

  • Navigate to the Reports Listing page where all your reports are displayed.

Step 2: Select the Date or Date Range

  • Locate the centralized date field at the top of the page.

  • Choose a specific date or date range from the calendar.

Step 3: Apply the Date Selection

  • Click the Apply button to set the selected date range.

  • The selected date range will now apply to all widgets within the report.

How the Centralized Date Field Impacts the Report

  • Applies to All Widgets:
The selected date range is reflected across all widgets in the report.|

  • Consistency Across the Report:
Ensures that every widget shows data for the same time period, eliminating inconsistencies.

  • Impact on Scheduled Reports and Notes:
The centralized date range also applies to:

    • Scheduled reports sent via email.

    • Notes summaries generated for each widget.

Understanding the 'Compare To' Feature

  • The platform primarily uses the centralized date range for all computations.

  • However, if a widget has the Compare To feature enabled:

    • The Compare To date range will override the centralized setting for that specific widget.

This allows flexibility where needed while maintaining centralized control across the majority of your report.

By using the centralized date field, you ensure that all widgets within a report are aligned to the same time frame, improving data accuracy and simplifying reporting.

It also ensures consistency across scheduled reports and AI-generated summaries, while still allowing individual comparison customizations when necessary.
