Welcome to our step-by-step guide designed to help you navigate and utilize the Pipeline module effectively.

The Pipeline module is a powerful tool within our system, designed to enhance your planning and performance tracking capabilities.

Let's explain how you can make the most out of the two primary tabs in the Pipeline module: Forecasting and Intent.

Getting Started with Forecasting

Viewing Your Pipelines

The Forecasting tab is your go-to place to see a comprehensive list of all the pipelines created by users across your organization. Here's what you'll find in this list:

  • Pipeline Title: The name given to the pipeline.

  • Owner's Name: The person who created or is responsible for the pipeline.

  • Creation Date: When the pipeline was initially set up.

  • Modification Date: The last time any changes were made to the pipeline.

This overview lets you quickly grasp the essential details of your organization's pipelines.

Creating a New Pipeline

Ready to add a new pipeline?

Click the 'New Pipeline' button. This feature is available for Salesforce channel users who have permissions to Read (R), Write (W), and Delete (D). If you're not a Salesforce channel user, you'll still be able to view the pipelines but not create them.

Diving into Pipeline Details

Click on any pipeline in the list to explore its details further. You'll find:

  • Actual and Expected Numbers: Compare what was predicted versus what has happened.

  • Goals Category: Quickly see if you're meeting, exceeding, or falling short of your targets.

Enhancing Your Analysis with Filters

The Pipeline module allows you to dive deeper into your data:

Historical Date Range

You can select different historical periods to base these figures on, giving you insights into your goal achievement status over time.

Users can select two options: 'Last 12 months' and 'Same Period last year.'

  • Filter by Field Values and Deal Values: Focus on the information that matters most to you.

  • Edit Details: You can adjust everything from revenue goals and forecast duration to the historical date range you're analyzing.

  • Change Funnel Mapping and Selections: Update the funnel mapping and modify the selected Object and Field as needed.

This level of customization ensures you can tailor the Pipeline module to suit your specific needs and preferences.

The Pipeline module is a robust tool that simplifies forecasting and Intent data analysis efforts. By familiarizing yourself with its features—from viewing and creating new pipelines to customizing your data analysis with filters—you can enhance your strategic planning and achieve your business goals more effectively.

Remember, the key to leveraging the Pipeline module is understanding how to navigate and utilize its features.
