Editing pipelines in our platform are designed to be straightforward and hassle-free. This guide will take you through each step, ensuring you can make the necessary pipeline changes quickly and efficiently.

We've broken down the process into simple sections so you can follow along easily, even if you're unfamiliar with our system.

Accessing the Pipeline Listing Page

To edit your pipelines, navigate to the Pipeline Listing Page. This is where all your created pipelines are displayed. Here's how to get there:

  • Click the Pipelines module from the navigation bar to proceed to the Pipeline Listing Page.

  • By default, the User will land on the Forecasting tab, which will display the Pipeline Listing Page.

Initiating the Edit Process

Once you're on the Pipeline Listing Page, you'll see a list of all your pipelines. Each pipeline entry has a kebab icon. Here's what to do next:

  1. Locate the pipeline you wish to edit.

  2. Click on the Edit option for the pipeline user intent to make changes. This action will take you to the pipeline's editing page.

Editing Your Pipeline

On the editing page, you're presented with various fields and settings that you can modify. Here's a breakdown of what you can change and how:

Changing Mapping Details

  • Object and Fields: You can adjust the object your pipeline is associated with and modify the fields included in the pipeline. Click on the object or field you wish to change and select the new one from the dropdown menu.

Modifying Revenue Goals and Duration

  • Revenue Goals: You have the option to update your revenue goals. Look for the section labeled accordingly; you can input the new goal directly.

  • Duration: Adjust how long this pipeline should run. There might be a dropdown or a calendar selection tool to choose the new duration.

Adjusting Historical Assessment Period

  • Finally, you can change the historical period for which the pipelines were assessed. This is useful for analyzing performance over time. Depending on your analysis needs, the new period could range from months to years.

Saving Your Changes

After you've made all the necessary adjustments:

  1. Look for the Save button. It's typically located at the bottom or top-right corner of the page.

  2. Click Save to apply your changes. A confirmation message should appear, indicating that your edits have been successfully saved.
