Understanding Folder Renaming Rules

Public and Private Folders

The 'Public' and 'Private' folders are default categories provided by the Sales Analytics platform to help users organize their analyses efficiently and according to different access needs:

  • Public Folder: This folder is meant for analyses that can be viewed by all users within your organization. It’s designed to facilitate easy sharing and collaboration.|

  • Private Folder: This folder is for personal use. It is where you can store analyses that are not meant to be shared and are private to you.

Renaming Restrictions

  • Fixed Folder Names: Users cannot rename the 'Public' and 'Private' folders. These folders are integral to the platform's organizational structure, and their names are fixed to ensure consistent understanding and use across all users.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can effectively use the provided folders to organize your work while understanding the limitations in customization for these particular folders.
