Guide to create a Vertical Bar Chart

Follow these steps to create a Vertical Bar Chart in the Reports module.

Accessing the Reports Module

  1. Go to the Reports Module:

    • Navigate to the Reports module in your application.

Selecting or Creating a Report

  1. Select or Edit a Report:

    • Click View Reports to select from the list of existing reports.

    • If you are already inside the intended report, click Edit Report.

2. Create a New Report:

  • If you want to create a new report, click New Report placed on the Reports listing page to add all the widgets.

Adding a Widget

  1. Add a New Widget:

    • Inside the report, click Add Widget.

Create Custom Widget

  1. Enter Widget Name:

    • Provide a name for your widget in the space provided.

  • Tap Save.

Configuring the Widget

  1. Choose Widget Type:

    • Select Comparison Chart from the Widget Type dropdown.

2. Select Graph Type:

  • Choose Vertical Bar Chart from the available graph types.

3. Enter Widget Description:

  • Provide a description for the widget that explains the purpose of the vertical bar chart.

Selecting Data and Parameters

  1. Choose Channel Name:

    • Select the Channel Name for which you want to create the report.

2. Select Object:

  • For the chosen Channel Name, select the Object you want to create the chart for.

3. Set Time Range:

  • Select the time range for which you want to create the chart.

4. Configure Y-Axis:

  • Choose the y-axis, and the date field will populate. Select the appropriate date field.

5. Configure X-Axis:

  • Choose the x-axis, and the values field will populate based on this. Use the checkboxes to select the fields accordingly.

Advanced Settings

  1. Plot Average Values:

    • If you want to see the average values plotted on the graph, check the box.

2. Change Widget Color:

  • Under advanced settings, you can change the color of your choice.

3. Save Widget for Future Use:

  • Click the Save Template checkbox to save this widget for quick future use.

Finalizing the Widget

  1. Preview and Create Widget:

    • On the right side, users will see a preview image of the chart. Click the Show Values checkbox to see the values over the graph.

  • Tap Create Widget to complete the creation of the widget. Click Back if you do not want to create the widget.

Viewing the Report

  1. View the Newly Created Widget:

    • Once created, the newly created widget will be part of a report which can be viewed from the Reports details page.

By following these steps, you can successfully create and customize a Vertical Bar Chart in your report.
