The Rewaa platform allows you to add a customer directly from the sales screen before issuing an invoice, especially if the customer is not already added to the system. This feature streamlines the sales process by enabling real-time customer addition.

Steps to Add a Customer

  1. Access the Sales Screen:

    • Navigate to:

      • Sales and Customers > Point of sale > Open Sales Register.

  • Click on the Customer option.

  • Open the Customer List:

    • A list of existing customers will appear.

    • Click on the (+) button to add a new customer.

  • Enter Customer Details:

    • Customer Name: This will appear on the invoice.

    • Phone Number: Ensure the number is unique and not already registered in the system.

    • Customer Code:

      • A unique identifier for the customer.

      • You can manually input this code based on your internal classification or click Auto Generate Code for an automatic code created by the platform (can include letters and numbers).

    • Click Add to save the customer details.

⚠️ Ensure that the Customer Name field is enabled in settings for it to appear on the invoice.

  • Continue the Sales Process:

    • The customer's name will now appear at the top of the sales screen.

    • Proceed with adding products and issuing the invoice.

  • Quick Add Option:

    • You can also add a customer directly by clicking the (+) icon in the Customer Field before issuing the invoice.

    • Fill in the necessary details and proceed with the sales process.

1. Does adding a customer from the sales screen reflect in the platform’s customer list?

  • Yes, the customer is added once to the system, either through the sales screen or the customer list.

2. Why isn’t the customer’s name appearing on the invoice?

  • Ensure the Customer Name option is enabled in settings:

    • Navigate to Sales and Customers > Sales Settings > Sales Receipts.

    • Check the box for Customer Name and click Save.

3. Can I add the customer’s tax number during the sales process?

  • Yes, by clicking More Details, you can:

  • Add the customer’s tax number, commercial registration, and address.

  • Include additional notes if needed.

  • Click Add to save the details in the system.
