The Rewaa platform allows you to efficiently manage products during the sales process, including adjusting quantities, changing product prices, adding extra options, or removing products from the sales screen. This flexibility ensures smooth transactions and enhances customer satisfaction.
Adjusting Product Quantity
You can easily set or modify the quantity of a product during a sale. This ensures accurate order fulfillment and reduces customer wait time.
For the Basic Sales Interface:
Manually Adjust the Quantity:
Click on the quantity field.
Enter the desired quantity to be sold.
Use a Barcode Scanner:
Scan the product's barcode multiple times.
The quantity will automatically update based on the number of scans.
For the Image-Based Sales Screen:
Click on the Product Image:
Select the product and adjust the quantity using the (+) icon.
Manually Adjust the Quantity:
Click on the quantity field and enter the desired quantity.
Changing Product Price
Sometimes, a product’s price needs to be adjusted directly during the sales process, such as for customizable services.
ℹ️Changing the price in the sales screen does not affect the price stored in the inventory.
ℹ️ When adding a price for a product in the "Product Inventory" section on the platform, and then changing it to a lower price from the Sales Screen, the system considers it a discount on the product.
Example: If the product price is 25 SAR and you change it to 20 SAR, the discount percentage is automatically calculated and added to the Discount Amount field.
When printing the invoice, the discount appears in the summary section at the bottom.
1. In the Basic Sales Screen:
Add the product to the sales screen.
Adjust the price in the Price field in the relevant column.
2. In the Image-Based Sales Screen:
Add the product to the sales screen.
Click the arrow next to the product details.
Enter the new price in the price field.
Adding Extra Options
If a product includes optional add-ons, such as sauces or premium packaging, these can be added during the sale.
1. In the Basic Sales Screen Interface:
Add the product to the sales screen.
Click the arrow next to the total price column.
Enter the desired quantities for the additional options.
2. In the Image-Based Sales Screen:
Select the product.
Choose the desired options from the pop-up window.
Specify the quantity for each option.
Click Add to Order.
Removing Products
If a customer changes their mind about a product or an incorrect item is added, products can be removed easily.
To Remove a Specific Product:
Click the 🗑️ icon next to the product name.
To Remove All Products:
Click the 🗑️ icon at the bottom left of the screen.
FAQ
How can I ensure the desired product quantity is available in inventory?
If the quantity exceeds the available stock, a pop-up will notify you.
⚠️ When the "Sell When Quantity is 0" option is enabled, this pop-up will not appear, and you will be able to sell the product.
To ensure that the "Sell When Quantity is 0" option is disabled, navigate to:
Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales.
Make sure the "Sell When Quantity is 0" option is turned off. For more details, click here.
2. Can I view inventory quantities from the sales screen?
Yes, click the arrow next to the product details and select Show Product Details.
3. Can I restrict users from access to product data from the sales screen?
Yes, adjust user permissions by navigating to:
Settings > Users > ⚙️ > Edit User.
User Permissions > Applications > Rewaa New POS.
Disable all permissions related to product data, then click Save User Data. The "View Product Details" option will no longer be visible to the user on the sales screen.
4. I added a product with a price of (0) because its price varies. When adding it to the sales screen, a pop-up appears: “Cannot sell because it has cost > Price at this location”?
This pop-up appears because the product has a cost price assigned. To proceed, set a selling price higher than the cost price.

5. Can I restrict users from changing product prices?
Yes, adjust user permissions by navigating to:
Settings > Users > ⚙️ > Edit User.
User Permissions > Applications > Rewaa New POS, then disable the Edit Price/Discount option.
6. I have a user account, and the (🗑️) icon does not appear, so I can't remove the product?
If the (🗑️) icon does not appear next to product names in the user account, it means you do not have the permission to remove products from the sales screen. You can contact the main account user to check your available permissions.
7. Can more than one additional option be added to the same product?
Yes, you can select more than one additional option for the product.
8. Can additional options be discounted?
No, option prices are fixed as set in the inventory and cannot be discounted from the sales screen.|
9. Do additional options appear on kitchen receipts?
Yes, additional options are displayed on kitchen receipts if configured in the product’s inventory details.
10. How can I remove an added option from a product?
Set the option quantity to 0 in the respective field.
