E-Commerce Order Settings in Rewaa (V.1)

📢 This article explains how to Issuing E-Commerce Order Invoices(Version 1). Version 2 is being rolled out gradually to all customers. You can check your installed version from the Orders page. If you have Version 2, click here to view the related articles.

When integrating your e-commerce platforms with Rewaa (e.g., Salla, Zid), configuring specific settings ensures seamless order processing. For example, enabling sales when the order quantity exceeds available stock or when the selling price is below the cost. These settings allow you to process orders without encountering errors related to stock quantities or pricing. You can also enable automatic invoice issuance for better workflow management.

⚠️ Currency Limitation: The default currency in Rewaa is SAR (Saudi Riyal). Orders priced in other currencies will appear in SAR without currency conversion.

Example: An order priced at 6 KWD in your store will be recorded as 6 SAR in Rewaa.

Configuring Order Settings

To access e-commerce order settings:

  • Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > E-Commerce Orders

Enable the desired options by toggling the button.

Settings Options

  • Selling When Quantity > Available

    • Allows order processing, including invoicing, even if the ordered quantity exceeds the available stock in Rewaa.

    • Prevents error notifications for quantity discrepancies.

    • Note: This setting applies only to new orders. Errors in existing orders must be resolved manually.

  • Selling When Price < Cost

    • Allows order processing and invoicing when the product’s selling price in the order is lower than its cost in Rewaa’s inventory.

    • Prevents error notifications for pricing discrepancies.

    • Note: This setting applies only to new orders. Errors in existing orders must be resolved manually.

  • Automatic Invoice Issuance

    • Automatically issues invoices for e-commerce orders based on the selected order stage.

    • Reflected in reports, sales, and collected amounts.

ℹ️ Once an invoice is issued, no updates from the e-commerce platform (e.g., adding products, discounts, or price changes) will sync to Rewaa.

To enable automatic invoicing:

  • Select the desired order stage (e.g., Ready for Shipping).

  • Save the changes.

After configuring your settings, click Save to apply them to new orders from your e-commerce platforms.


FAQ

  1. Can I enable settings for specific products only (e.g., sell below cost)?
    No, these settings apply to all products in incoming orders. They cannot be restricted to specific items.

  2. I sometimes offer free gifts or discounts below cost. Can I enable "Sell Below Cost" temporarily?
    Yes, you can enable the option, process the orders, and then disable it after issuing the invoices.

  3. How can I check if the "Sell Below Cost" option is enabled?
    When the toggle button is green, the option is enabled. Click the button to disable it, and then click Save.

  4. Do these settings affect sales via Rewaa’s cashier?
