Track Customer Transactions in Detail

Learn how to use the Customer Movement Report and export it to Excel.

This report helps you track all transactions made with your customers through the platform, such as sales invoices, returns, and payments. The report is updated automatically in real time.


Accessing the Report

  1. Go to Reports > Sales > Customer Movement Report.

  2. Click the report to view details.

Search in the Report

  • Search by customer name or phone number in the search field.

Filter the Results

  1. Click Filter.

  2. You can filter the results by:

    • Date range

    • Customer name

    • Customer phone number

    • Location

    • Transaction reference

    • Transaction type

    • Sales channel

  3. Click Apply.

Sort the Data

  1. Click the Sort by field.

  2. Choose the sorting option you prefer to display the data.

Report Data

Customer Name / Phone Number

Based on the data entered in the Customers section.

Location

The branch where the customer made the purchase.

Transaction Reference

The sales invoice number, return invoice, or purchase invoice on the platform.

Transaction Type

Sales or returns across all sales channels, or payments received from the customer.

Transaction Date

The date when the transaction was recorded.

Transaction Quantity

The number of products in the invoice.

Paid Amount | Received Amount

The total collected or deducted amount, including Tax.

Payment Method

The method used to complete the transaction (e.g., cash, credit card).

Channel

POS, Salla store, Zid store.

User

The account that issued the invoice or executed the transaction.

ℹ️ The table contains multiple columns. Use the scrollbar at the bottom to view all columns.

Export the Report

  1. Click Export.

  2. Choose xlsx.

  3. The file will be downloaded to your device.


FAQs

1. Can I know when the customer paid their outstanding invoices?

Yes. Go to Filter > Transaction Type > Customer Receive Debit. The report will show all payment transactions with their respective dates.

2. Can I see all transactions for a specific customer?

Yes. Search by the customer’s name or phone number, and all related transactions will appear based on the selected date range.

3. Why can’t I see all the data in the report?

Use the scrollbar at the bottom of the table to view all data, or click Export to see the full details in an Excel file.
