How to Use the External Referrer Portal

If you're a referral partner who sends referrals to organizations on RiseKit, you can track your referrals and communicate with staff through the Referrer Portal.

Signing In

Visit the referral portal link provided by your partner organization. Enter your email address and you'll receive a sign-in link — no password needed. Click the link in your email to access the portal.

Your session stays active for 30 minutes. After that, you'll need to sign in again for security.

Tracking Your Referrals

Once signed in, you'll see a list of all referrals you've submitted. You can:

  • Search for a specific referral by name

  • Filter by status to find referrals at a particular stage

  • Look for the unread message indicator to spot referrals with new messages from staff

Click on any referral to open the detail view, which shows:

  • The client information you submitted

  • A status timeline tracking the referral's progress

  • The full message thread with the receiving organization's staff

Messaging Staff

From a referral's detail view, you can send and receive messages with the staff handling the referral. This is a direct line of communication — no need to email or call separately.

  • Type your message in the composer at the bottom of the thread

  • You can attach up to 5 files (10 MB max each) to any message

  • When staff replies, you'll receive an email notification — sign back in to read and respond

Your messages and any attachments are only visible to you and the staff members at the receiving organization. For security, message content isn't included in email notifications — you'll always need to sign in to read the full message.
