When another organization sees a program you are offering and wants to refer one of their participants to your program, they may begin a group chat with you to start the referral process. Group chat allows you to communicate with the referring organization as well as the program participant.

Navigation:

When you are invited to a group chat, you will receive an email with the subject: You've been added to a new group chat. The email will outline which STAFF member invited you to the group chat and the name of the PARTICIPANT who is in the group chat.

Additionally, you will receive an email with the message from the referring organization.

You have the ability to reply directly from the email to the group chat (just how you would normally reply to an email), or log in to your RiseKit account and respond.

To reply from your RiseKit account:

  1. Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal or click on the "View Conversation" in your email.

  2. You should see links that show the following options:

    • Organization

    • Chat

    • Candidates

    • Resources

    • Surveys

  3. Once in the "Chat" section, navigate to the tab titled "External Chats".

  4. Use the chat feature. For more details on how to chat, see this helpful article.

  5. Type your message in the Type your response here section and select "Send Message".
