How to Chat with Individual Participants

RiseKit makes it easy to communicate with your participants through our chat-to-text feature and keep all your messages in one place.

1. Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal.

2. Move your mouse toward the left-hand menu.

3. Click Chat > Add Participant.

4. If the participant is not yet in RiseKit, follow the prompts on the screen to invite them to create a profile. Once you complete this process, you will be directed to a new chat window to begin a conversation with the candidate.

5. If the participant already has an account with RiseKit, you can find them under Participants. Click on their name, and click Chat to begin or continue a chat.

Please note: The participant must be assigned to you in order for you to see this Chat option.

6. Once you're satisfied with your message, click Send Message. This will send the chat message to the candidate via text and/or email. They will be able to respond back via normal text message or email without having to return to their RiseKit account.
