How to Invite Participants

Invite participants to begin accelerating their path from inquiry to employment on RiseKit.

Updated this week

1. Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal

2. Move your mouse toward the left-hand menu.

3. Click Home to find Organization Actions.

4. Click Invite Participants.

5. A window will appear on the right side of your screen titled, Add New Participant.

6. Enter the participant's phone number and/or email address -- which ever is available. Click Next.

If the participant already has a record in our system, clicking Next will bring up their name and allow you to go directly to their existing profile or start a new chat with them.

7. Complete the form by adding the participant's full name, phone number and/or email address, and any assignments you'd like to apply to their profile.

  • Assign to team: Assign the participant to an existing group of staff members.

  • Assign to staff: Assign the participant to a specific, individual staff member.

  • Select a pathway to assign: Assign an existing pathway to the participant moving forward.

8. Lastly, define whether or not you'd like the participant to receive an invitation to begin creating a RiseKit profile via the phone number and/or email address you are submitting. This is done by adding a check in the box labeled, Send invitation.

If this option is chosen, it will send a link via text and/or email to the participant that brings them into their profile and directs them to submit information about their skills, goals, barriers, and basic personal information. This information is never shared outside your organization.

If you choose not to send an invitation, you may add this information on the participant's behalf. Learn how to do this here.

9. Click Add. You should receive a confirmation message, be able to access the participant's record via the Participants section, and edit as needed.

10. From here, you'll be able to find newly invited participants under the New Signups stage, where you'll be able to enroll them in programs and begin to chart their course to employment. Once they complete their profile and define any barriers they're experiencing, they will be added under the Barrier Reduction tile.
