1. Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal
2. Move your mouse toward the left-hand menu.
3. Click on Resources > New > Training Program.
5. Enter the program details in the fields below.
Remember! The more detailed you are, the easier it will be for your audience to find it.
External URL: Define the URL that your audience will follow to learn more or sign-up to participate. This can be an online description of the program, an application page, or a link to next steps in a process.
Training Program Title: Define how your program will appear to your audience in RiseKit. Include the name of the organization offering the program and name of the program itself to ensure its easy to find.
Example: ABC Community College | Basics in Computer Coding
Location: Select whether the program is offered virtually or in-person. If the program is in-person, include the address by typing it into the Address box that appears.
Program Type: Choose how the program will be categorized.
Schedule: Define the time of day/week that the program will be taking place.
Preferred Education Level: Define an education level that is relevant to your target audience.
Background Friendly: Let your audience know if people with backgrounds may participate.
Length of Program: Define how many weeks or months this program will be offered.
Pay Rate: Let your audience know if this is a paid (hourly or yearly ranges) or unpaid program.
Description: This is meat of your program listing. Include key details to provide your audience about what the program's curriculum, expectations, what participants will walk away with upon completion, and steps they can take to attend.
Example: This coding course will cover the fundamental principles and skills to build a career in computer software engineering. It will provide the prerequisites to pursue our Coding Level 2 class. For more information, please visit our website: www.ABCCC.edu or call 555-555-5555.
6. Add additional attributes that provide the main point of contact's information, determine eligibility for the program, any industries related to the program, or required COVID precautions that your attendees must adhere to.
Add Contact Information: Who should your audience contact if they are interested or have questions?
Eligibility: Define any age requirements for participating and whether the program relates to people with disabilities, that have a military status, or belong to a specific gender.
Related Industries: Define specific industries that fall in the scope of your program. Select all that apply.
Covid-19 Precautions: Define whether your program requires those that participate to adhere to rules that protect those with higher risk of severe illness.
6. Click Review Details.
7. Before submitting and publishing, choose a date for when the program will no longer be active on RiseKit and define how it will be shared once published. You can offer the event to users across the entire RiseKit network or be more targeted.
8. Once everything looks good, click Submit.
Editing a Training Program
1. To edit your program, navigate to the left-side menu and click Resources > My Resources.
2. Find your program and click View Details > Edit.
*If you did not create the program, you will not have the ability to
edit it.
3. Navigate to the area that needs editing and follow the steps above to re-submit.
