Why is it important?
Each time a recommendation is implemented, the risk profile of a facility or processing unit changes, making the initial sequence of recommendations potentially obsolete. Traditional recommendation implementation strategies result in higher costs, slower reductions in High and Very High risk scenarios and lower quality implementations. Risk Alive allows clients to model the ideal sequence of recommendations based on shut-downs, capital costs and lead times.
How does it work?
All recommendations are processed through a criticality algorithm which determines the most critical recommendation. This initial most critical recommendation is then calculated as a safeguard and the remaining recommendations are re-processed through criticality in an iterative process until all recommendations have been sequenced. Recommendation Sequencer can be generated before, during or after recommendations are implemented.
Recommendation Sequencer analyzes all recommendations included in a PHA and orders them from most to least critical on the graph. The graph includes bars for each recommendation and a visualization of the number and type of scenarios present at any point in the recommendation sequence (graph background).
Recommendation Sequencer can display recommendations for a single or multiple PHAs at once.
