1) You may be using the wrong username. Although you can use your email as your username, many people do not. However, once they're logged out of the site, and try to log back in, end up inputting their email as their username, when something else was chosen. If you don't remember your username, you can request to retrieve it.
2) You may be trying to log in using the wrong information. For example, if you're using RotoWire's MLB Commissioner service, you may be trying to log in with your team name and/or league password. This will not work. You need to use your personal RotoWire.com account to log in to the site and access your team. If you have forgotten your login information, use our login recovery form.
3) Your password might be incorrect. All it takes is one typo to cause a lot of frustration.
4) You know your username is right, and your password seems correct, but it's still not working. If you have double-checked that your password looks correct and you still aren't getting into the site, your best option is to use our password recovery form. Click here and we'll email you a link to change your password.
5) Your browser could be blocking cookies. RotoWire.com needs cookies to be enabled so that we can grant you access to your account. You can check if your browser has cookies enabled by going to this site. If the site says that cookies are disabled, then follow the instructions on find out here.
6) Your browser may be storing a corrupted login cookie. If this is the problem, the best way to fix it is to clear all the cookies in your browser. Check here for instructions on how to clear the cookies in your browser. If you're unsure which browser you're using, you can find out here.
7) You selected to have your e-mail address hidden when creating an account (usually when choosing "Continue With Apple or Google"). These methods of creating an account give you an option to hide your e-mail when making an app store or website purchase, and when selecting that option, the username that gets generated for your account is typically an e-mail address featuring a long string of random characters. It often isn't related to your regular e-mail or name, so our customer support agents might have a difficult time finding it in our internal database. To find the e-mail that is used (effectively the username you log in with), you can either a) refer to your welcome e-mail, b) visit your account page on the app or c) contact Apple/Google Play support to retrieve the e-mail.
8) If you still can't log in to the site after trying the steps above, please e-mail us at support@rotowire.com.
