If you are wondering "How can I prepare for the first session?", this checklist is for you.

It is important that usually you do not need to prepare at all, you should just come to the session and start talking about the issues you are concerned with. But there are a few points that you can take care of in advance to make the therapy more effective.

To have an effective online session, you can:

1. Check your Internet connection in order not to interrupt to solve technical issues.

2. Find a place where no one disturbs you and you feel safe and calm.

3. Turn off notifications so as not to be distracted. This way, you will be more focused on the therapy process.

What to expect from the first session?

Usually, during the first session you get acquainted with your therapist, tell your story, and discuss your request. Therapist may ask some questions to understand your request to help you deal with it.

It's okay if you can't say your request clearly, the specialist will ask questions and help you determine the request.

At the end of the first session, we recommend you to think if you like the session and if the therapist really got you and can help with your request. You can ask about the method that the therapist will use to deal with your issue. If it doesn't work for you, you can discuss this with the therapist and they will offer alternative methods based on your request.

Please remember some platform rules:

1. Payment for sessions is made no later than 24 hours before the session.

2. We respect our specialists schedule and time, so we ask you to give them 24 hours' notice of rescheduling or canceling a session. In this case, the therapist will be able to have another client at this time, and we will be able to refund you the money . In case there was no warning, the session is considered to be held without a refund.

Have a great session! ❤️
