Opening the Inspection Board
In the left sidebar, expand Operations.
Click Inspection Board.
The board lists every reservation arriving in the selected window (guest stays, owner stays, and maintenance blocks).
Choosing what you see
Daily / Weekly tabs — switch between a single day and a full week.
Today / ◀ ▶ — jump back to today or step one day/week at a time.
All Statuses — filter rows by the status you've assigned (or show only rows with No Status).
All Tags — filter by property tags (e.g. Pet Friendly, Pool, Premium).
Each day card shows the date and the number of arrivals, followed by a row per reservation with the property/reservation number, check-in & check-out dates, guest name and phone, the assigned status, and notes.
Setting a property status
In the Status column, click the status selector for the row you want to update and choose one of the six statuses:
Color | Status | When to use it |
🟢 Green | Ready for Check-in | Property has been cleaned, inspected, and is fully ready for the incoming guest. |
🟠 Orange | Out and In | Same-day turnover — a guest is checking out and another is checking in the same day. Flag these for tight coordination. |
🔵 Blue | Arrival Check / Open | Standard arrival that still needs to be checked or is open/awaiting work. This is the default "needs attention" state. |
🔴 Red | Maintenance Issues | An open maintenance problem needs to be resolved before the guest arrives. |
🟣 Purple-blue | Deep Clean | Property is scheduled for or requires a deep clean before turnover. |
🟪 Purple | Mandatory Inspection | An inspection is required (e.g. after a long stay, post-maintenance, or per company policy). |
Once selected, the status name and color appear in the selector and the row gets a colored accent bar on its left edge so you can scan the day at a glance. The status is saved automatically.
Changing or clearing a status
Change — click the selector again and pick a different status.
Clear — click the selector and choose Clear status at the bottom of the menu. The row returns to "no status."
Only one status can be active per row at a time.
Adding notes
In the Notes column, click + Add note (or click an existing note) to add a short message about the property — for example, "Pool service rescheduled to 10am" or "Replace air filter before guest arrives." Notes save automatically as you type and are visible to anyone using the board.
Filtering the board
By status — use the status filter to see only rows in a given state, or pick No Status to find rows that still need to be triaged.
By tag — use the tag filter to focus on a subset of properties (for example, only Pet Friendly arrivals).
Filters can be combined with the daily/weekly view to build a focused work list for the day.
Tips
Start each morning by filtering to No Status in the Daily view and assigning a status to every arrival.
Use Out and In during the day to flag turnovers your team needs to prioritize.
Drop a quick note anytime there's context the next person on the board should know — it travels with the reservation.
The colored accent bar on the left of each row makes it easy to spot maintenance or deep-clean rows when scrolling.
