If you have a CSV spreadsheet of your customers from a previous platform, you can upload the list of customers into your Swift account through our bulk import tool.

How to bulk import your customer list into Swift
In Swift Admin, go to the Customers page
Click on the Import button located in the top right corner
Click within the dotted box to Upload your CSV file, or simply drag and drop the CSV file into the dotted box. Click the Next button.
The system will display how many columns and rows were discovered in the file. Click the Next button.
A pre-populated list will show the columns mapped to the corresponding fields in Swift. Please ensure the File Column is correctly mapped to the corresponding Swift Field. If not, you can click on the Swift Field and change it accordingly.
Optional - If you would like to opt-in all the customers in the list to receive marketing email blasts from your facility, check the "Automatically opt-in all customers to receive marketing emails" field. Click the Next button.
The system will provide a summary of the number of customer accounts that will be created with the import, and the number of existing customers who will have their profiles updated.
Optional - If you would like an automated email notification to be sent to all imported customers once their account has been imported (created), you can check the "Notify customers when their account is created" box
Click on the Start Import button
If the customer already exists in your Swift account, and they're also listed in the CSV spreadsheet, then any existing customer and their data will be skipped during the upload.
Bulk Membership Import to Customer Accounts
If you already have customers with active memberships and want to reflect those memberships in their Swift accounts, our team can help by completing a bulk membership import for you.
This is a great option when transitioning from another system or transferring existing members into Swift without needing them to repurchase.
You must create the Memberships first in your Swift account. The import will match customers to these memberships, so they need to be set up in advance.

Step 2: Complete the Template
Fill out the template with your customer and membership details. Be sure to:
Enter accurate customer information (such as name and email addresses) so we can match them correctly
Use the exact membership names as they appear in your Swift account
Double-check all fields to avoid delays or errors during the import process
Step 3: Submit Your Request
Once your template is complete:
Email the saved file to support@runswiftapp.com
Include a brief note confirming that you’re requesting a bulk membership import
