The short version
Before you can schedule jobs, send invoices, and get paid through RV Help, there are two one-time setup steps: connect your payout account (so money can reach your bank) and add your rates and services (so you can build invoices and respond to leads). This guide walks through both and shows where to find them later.
1. Connect your payout account (Stripe)
RV Help uses Stripe to move customer payments to your bank account. The first time you turn on RV Help Payments, you'll be guided through a short Stripe onboarding form (your business details and bank account). Once it's complete, payments customers make through RV Help are deposited to that account automatically.
To start setup — or pick up where you left off — go to your provider dashboard and open Billing → Billing Dashboard, then use the Connect Stripe button to open or resume the onboarding form.
If your form is stuck partway through, or a deposit looks short or missing, don't troubleshoot with Stripe directly — reply in chat and we'll help, since we can see the connection on our side. (For how deposits and timing work after setup, see "When and how do I get paid through RV Help?")
2. Add your rates and billable line items
Your rates and saved services power your invoices and let you respond to leads. If you take RV repair leads, you'll be asked to set your standard pricing (such as your service call fee) before you can accept one — the system needs a basic price list to build the job from.
You can add saved services (for example a diagnostic fee, hourly labor rate, or common flat-rate jobs) so they're one tap to add to any invoice. Find them in your provider dashboard under Business → Bookable Services; your default pricing and tax settings live under Business → Pricing and Billing.
Where do I find all this later? (the CRM)
Once you've turned on RV Help Payments, your job-management tools — Leads, Jobs, Schedule, Customers, Reviews, Parts & Inventory, invoicing (under Billing), and your saved services (under Business) — live together in your provider dashboard.
What you can do once you're set up
Schedule appointments that notify the customer and sync to your calendar.
Build and send invoices by email with a shareable payment link.
Set up your line items, taxes, and totals before you send an invoice.
Toggle taxability per line item and set an invoice-level tax rate.
Issue full or partial refunds right from the job page.
Prefer to keep your own tools?
RV Help Payments is optional. If you'd rather invoice and process cards with your own system, you can. You can also use RV Help payments for RV Help jobs and use your other systems for non RV Help jobs — see Do I have to use RV Help Payments, or can I keep using my own system?
