Hiking in altitudes up to 4,500 meters: The base plan has a provision for hiking in altitudes up to 4,500 meters, as long as you use only certified, official paths. Going off-path, off-trail, off-course, or on unauthorized paths is not covered.
Hiking in altitudes between 4,500 meters and 6,000 meters: The Adventure Sports add-on allows for hiking in altitudes between 4,500 meters and 6,000 meters, but not any higher than this.

Organized: The activity must not involve regular or scheduled practices and must not include any intention to compete.
Rewarded: There can be no wage, reward, or profit connected to you doing the activity.
Expeditions: You are not covered while exploring remote or inaccessible areas, exploratory expeditions and new routes or activities, such as within Antarctica, the Arctic Circle or Greenland.
Safety: You must ensure the sport or activity is adequately supervised and that appropriate safety equipment (such as helmets, life jackets, etc.) is worn and used. You must also wear a helmet during the use of a moped or motorcycle.
Paths: You are only covered when using certified, official paths. You are not covered when going off-path, off-trail, off-course, or on unauthorized paths.
Important: Helicopter expenses for search and rescue from a mountain are excluded from coverage.
