Bicycling is eligible for coverage under the base plan, with several exclusions:
Remote or inaccessible areas are excluded
Search & rescue is excluded
Activities above 4,500 meters altitude are not covered under the base plan (however, bicycle touring over 4,500 meters altitude is covered with the Adventure Sports add-on)
You must be wearing appropriate safety equipment (such as a helmet)
You must use only certified, official paths. Going off-path, off-trail, off-course, or on unauthorized paths is not covered
Professional, organized, or rewarded cycling is not covered
