Routine dental treatment is not covered in our plan. However, the following two instances are:
Pain-relieving emergency dental treatment
Emergency dental treatment to resolve the sudden, unexpected onset of pain is eligible.
Important conditions:
→ You seek treatment within 72 hours of the pain starting
→ The pain is not connected to any prior recommendations from a medical professional
→ The pain appeared suddenly and unexpectedly
→ Dentures or dental appliances are excluded
→Benefit’s limit: up to $1,000
2. Emergency dental treatment and surgery following an accident
Our plan covers emergency dental surgery in the event that your natural teeth need to be restored or replaced due to an accident. The accident itself must be eligible for coverage under Nomad Insurance Essential in order to qualify.
Important conditions:
→ The treatment is carried out by a dentist
→ Any existing dentures or dental appliances are excluded
→ You are covered up to the overall plan limit of $250,000
