You can add an Electronics Theft benefit to your Nomad Insurance Essential subscription plan. This add-on provides coverage if your electronics are stolen.
What Electronics Are Covered?
Laptops
Cameras & lenses
Smartphones
Tablets & iPads
E-readers
Music players
Earphones, earplugs, & AirPods
Drones
Other electronics that are not specifically listed here are not covered by the Electronics theft add-on.
Benefit Limits
Up to $2,000 per electronic item
Up to $5,000 per insurance period
Up to $8,000 total lifetime maximum
Important Conditions
To be eligible for reimbursement:
You must have taken reasonable care to protect your electronics.
Theft must be reported to the police within 24 hours.
You must provide proof of ownership, such as a purchase receipt.
Reimbursement value is based on current market value at the time of the claim.

This add-on is available only with subscription plans.
The Add-on must be selected at purchase
If you want to add it after purchasing a plan, you’ll need to cancel your current plan and buy a new one with the add-on included.
Any existing medical conditions will then be considered pre-existing and excluded from the new plan.
