This article explains how to request credentials and set up distributor feeds in Salesbuildr

How to add a distributor

You will need to request your credentials for each distributor that you want to work with inside Salesbuildr and add them under Admin --> Manage --> Distributors, next select the Connections tab. Enter your credentials for each distributor.

How to setup distributors rules

Admin --> Manage --> Distributors, next select the Distributors tab. In this section you can configure Salesbuildr's preferred distributor selections by adding and ordering your distributors. Salesbuildr will update the cost price for products based on the rules you set on this page. This will only apply to products that have a valid manufacturer part number set and no explicit cost price configured - read more here

Navigate to Admin--> Manage--> Distributors and drag distributors to the preferred section in the desired order.

You can configure Salesbuildr to only consider a distributor when stock is incoming in the next X days or ignore a distributor when it hasn't been updated in the last Y days. Additionally you can configure Salesbuildr to select a different distributor when the price is more than X% lower than your preferred distributor.

Requesting distributor credentials

Most distributors will have apply a business approval process to determine if you can request pricing and availability files. After you have provided your credentials, you can search for products across your distributors in the Salesbuildr . New distributors will be added over time based on feature requests.

Supported distributors

Salesbuildr automatically downloads distributor pricing and availability feeds for the products that you sell. In order to view which distributors we support follow the link of the region you are located in:
