Updated over 9 months ago

To adjust the general settings in Salesbuildr, you'll need to go to Admin, then Configuration, and finally, General.

Once there, you'll find a variety of options under the Basic Configuration tab that you can modify according to your needs:

  1. Default Account Manager: This setting allows you to designate a default account manager. Their business card will appear on the dashboard.

  2. Display Middle Names: This option lets you decide whether to include the middle name from the Autotask field when displaying names.

  3. Currency: You can set the default currency for the system here.

    1. Price Calculation Strategy: Choose one of the following strategies for rounding off prices:

    2. As-is

    3. Round up from the third digit, minus one cent (e.g., €1,234.56 becomes €1,299.99)

    4. Round up from the third digit (e.g., €1,234.56 becomes €1,300.00)

    5. If the price is above 100, round up to the nearest whole number (e.g., €1,234.56 becomes €1,235.00)

  4. Markup or Margin Selection: Choose whether to use Markup or Margin to indicate profit. Markup indicates profit relative to cost (e.g., a product cost of €50, and a sale price of €80 gives a markup of 60%). Margin indicates profit relative to sales price or revenue generated (e.g., a product cost of €50, and a sale price of €80 gives a margin of 37.5%).

  5. Default markup for categories: Set the default markup that will be applied when you create new categories

  6. Show articles on dashboard: Choose to show or hide the latest articles on the dashboard. Note: this is a premium feature.

  7. Hide Product Pricing for Anonymous Users: Determine whether prices should be hidden or displayed for users who aren't logged in.

  8. Hide Product Part Number on Category and Product Pages for Customers: Choose whether to hide or show the manufacturer part number for non-internal users.

  9. Hide Welcome Message on Dashboard: Decide whether to show or hide the welcome message on your dashboard.

You can enable or disable various authentication methods under the

Auth Configuration tab. We recommend only enabling Microsoft and Google Single Sign On.
