Learn how Salesbuildr works with Hubspot

This integration is in development and is expected to go live by the end of October 2024.

The steps below will guide you through the steps need to enable Salesbuildr to talk to your Hubspot instance. This will enable Salesbuildr to be able to read and update the following entities and fields.

How to connect your Hubspot instance

Go to the integration page in the Salesbuildr admin section, enable the Hubspot integration, click connect and select your Hubspot account.

Mapping company types between Hubspot and Salesbuildr

In the Salesbuildr Admin section, you can map the Hubpot company types to Salesbuildr company types and vice versa. We recommend you use the same company types stages across all of your connected systems to ensure standardisation.

How does the integration between Salesbuildr and Hubspot work?

During setup, you can syncronise Salesbuildr with your Hubspot instance. This will link your companies and contacts in Hubspot to your companies and contacts in Salesbuildr, based on their hostname or email address respectively.

The initial sync from Hubspot to Salesbuildr will create new companies and contacts in Salesbuildr.

Triggers

When a linked company or contact is updated in Salesbuildr (through the frontend, public API, or from Autotask/ConnectWise), it will be reflected in Hubspot, but only if it has a Hubspot external ID.

When you update a company or contact in Hubspot, the changes will be synced to Salesbuildr and vice versa.

Creating or Linking Companies to HubSpot companies

You can link companies in Salesbuildr to existing companies in Hubspot or create a new companies in Hubspot based on the companies in Salesbuildr.

Contacts

You can link contacts in Salesbuildr to existing contacts in Hubspot or create a new contact in Hubspot based on the contact in Salesbuildr.

Opportunities

Salesbuildr will create opportunities in Hubspot when you create them in Salesbuildr using the Sales Pipeline you configured in the Admin Section of Salesbuildr.

Salesbuildr will fetch new opportunities from Hubspot as soon as they are created.

You can map the HubSpot pipeline stages to the Salesbuildr Pipeline stages in the Hubspot Admin section. We recommend you use the same pipeline stages across all of your connected systems to ensure standardisation.

What information is synchronised between Salesbuildr and HubSpot?

How to use Salesbuildr with HubSpot

Opportunities

From the Opportunity detail page, click on the HubSpot icon to open the opportunity in HubSpot:

Companies and contacts

Click the HubSpot icon on the company or company overview page to open the company in HubSpot.

Click the HubSpot icon on the contact or contact overview page to open the contact in Hubspot.
