Understand how the campaign report works, so you can use it to prove campaign results to your advertisers.

About the campaign report

Every campaign you run gets its own Campaign Report. It's built to save you time: all the data is collected and put together automatically, so you don't have to build reports by hand, and you get a report you can confidently share with your advertiser to show the results and value of the campaign.

This article walks you through every section of the report, so you know what you're looking at and how to use it.

Where to find your reports

All your campaign reports can be found in one library, under the "Campaign Analytics" tab. You can search for a specific report, or filter by "Upcoming," "Active," "Recent," or "Finished" to quickly find the one you need.

Click here to log in to your Samhub account.

The report header

At the top of every report, you'll find the campaign name, its status, the start and end date, the manager, and the advertiser ID. In the top right corner, you'll find buttons to share the report or export it to Excel or PowerPoint. We'll cover sharing in more detail at the end of this article.

Get quick explanations with the AI insight button

Throughout the report, you'll spot a small sparkle icon next to section headings. Click it, and you'll get an AI-generated explanation of the data in that specific section, a quick way to understand what's going on without digging through the numbers yourself.

Campaign Performance

This section gives you the headline numbers for the whole campaign:

Reach is the number of unique people the campaign reached, counted through Samhub's first-party panel (not through cookies).

Impressions are the ad views across all formats.

Clicks are the number of ad clicks.

Click-through Rate is clicks divided by impressions.

Spend is the media cost for the whole flight.

CPM is the cost per 1,000 impressions.

Below these numbers, you'll also find an Audience Performance table, showing how the campaign performed broken down by audience. It only shows the top result(s) here. If you scroll further down to the Audience Insights section, you'll find a lot more insights on audiences.

Daily Delivery

This section shows you how the campaign delivered day by day. The Daily delivery graph plots the metric selected in Adform over time. Next to it, Pacing shows you how much of the campaign's budget goal has been used so far, along with the delivery frequency (views per person) and how many days of the flight have passed.

Ad Performance & Placements

Here you'll see previews of the ad creatives used in the campaign, their format, and their status (for example, Active). Below that, a table lists every ad with its size and performance: impressions, clicks, click-through rate, viewability, and time in view.

Devices & Top Websites

This section shows which devices the ads were shown on (like smartphone, desktop, or tablet), along with impressions, clicks, and click-through rate for each. Next to it, you'll see the top websites the campaign ran on, and how much of the campaign's traffic and spend came from each one.

Geographic Delivery

This section shows where the campaign was delivered geographically, through three widgets. The map shows regional concentration, and you can click into a region to see the distribution within it in more detail. The Concentration widget shows which regions were over- or under-represented compared to the population. The Top regions widget is simply a ranked list of regions by share.

Demographics

This section shows who you reached with the campaign: their age group, gender split, income level, housing type, and whether they own a car or not.

Audience Insights

This section looks at the people you reached through a Mosaic Lifestyles lens. It shows your top 3 audiences, plus a full distribution chart covering all 14 Mosaic Lifestyle groups.

Both widgets are interactive: hover over a group to see a quick summary.

In the distribution chart, Share shows how many of the people you reached belong to that Mosaic group, and Index shows how over- or under-represented they are compared to the general population.

Click "Preview" on any group for a longer description and some extra data, or click "Full description" to go to that Mosaic group's dedicated page with all the details.

Similar Audiences

This section lists audiences that are similar to the people you reached with this campaign; specifically, interest audiences that show up more often than average among them. It's a useful place to look for relevant audiences to target in your next campaign.

Summary & Recommendations

This section gives you an AI-generated summary of the campaign and a set of recommendations based on the data. It's meant to help you quickly pull together the key takeaways to share with your advertiser. You can also edit this text yourself to add your own thoughts, ideas, or recommendations before sharing.

Sharing your report

Click "Share" in the top right corner of the report to open the sharing panel. From here, you can copy a public link, preview how the shared version will look, or share it directly.

Anyone you share this link with will only see the report itself. They won't be able to navigate anywhere else inside Samhub.

Customize the report

In the same panel, by clicking "Adjust", you can switch individual widgets on or off before sharing. This changes what's visible in the shared public report.
