How to Archive or Offboard an Employee

Instructions to temporarily or permanently remove employees from active status

Updated over 7 months ago

Archiving or offboarding an employee in SaucedIt removes them from active use while retaining their employment history for reference. Archiving is suitable when a staff member is no longer active but may return in the future, as the employee's SaucedIt profile can be reactivated without completing the full sign-up process again. Offboarding is used to formally end employment and ensure the employee no longer appears in current management screens. This guide explains how to archive or offboard an employee.

Quick Guide

Archiving or Off Boarding an Employee

  2. From the Dashboard, click on Employees in the left-hand column.

  3. Select the employee’s name to open their profile.

  4. Click on Archive.

  5. Choose a reason from the dropdown menu.

  6. Click Save to archive.

  7. The archiving process is complete. You can re-activate this profile at any time.

  8. To proceed to off boarding, click on the cog in the top right.

  9. Navigate to Account Settings.

  10. Scroll down to Off Boarding.

  11. Click on Add/Edit to the right.

  12. In Name, enter your name or the name of the manager supervising the off boarding process.

  13. Click SAVE to continue.

  14. Select the employee from the Off Boarded Employees list. Only archived employees appear here.

  15. From the Off boarding check list, delete any actions that do not apply by clicking the corresponding red x.

  16. If the employee worked at multiple venues, tick the items that need to be pushed through to all branches.

  17. Tick the checkboxes as tasks are completed.

  18. Add any additional notes, if necessary.

  19. Once all actions are completed, click Save to finalise the off boarding process.
