🧾 How to Use the Reporting Tab in Your SauceyDirect Dashboard

The Reports tab on your SauceyDirect Dashboard gives you fast, flexible access to sales data, customer trends, and product performance — all in just a few clicks.

Whether you’re looking to track sales by location, analyze order details, or understand your top-selling products, this tool is built to save you time and boost your business decisions.


🔍 Where to Find Reports

  1. Log into your Merchant Dashboard: dashboard.sauceydirect.com

  2. Click on “Reports” in the left-hand sidebar menu.


🧭 How to Use the Filters

At the top of the Reports page, you’ll find two key dropdowns to tailor your reports:

🏪 Store Selector

  • Use the "Aggregate all locations" dropdown to view reports across all stores, or isolate a specific store to see data just for that location.

📅 Date Range Filter

  • Select a timeframe like Last 7 Days, Month to Date, or a custom date range to focus your reporting window.

✅ Tip: For full historical data, choose "All Time" in the date filter.


📑 Report Types & What They’re Best For

Here are the four reports currently available and when to use each:

1. Sales Snapshot (PDF)

A high-level overview of your sales performance.

  • Includes: total revenue, order count, average order size.

  • Use this for: tracking weekly/monthly progress or sharing topline data with partners or management.

2. Detailed Order Report (CSV)

A line-by-line breakdown of every order.

  • Includes: customer info, items sold, fulfillment status, delivery fees, and more.

  • Use this for: reconciliations, internal audits, taxes, or customer service inquiries.

3. Product Performance Report (CSV)

Insights into your best and worst-selling products.

  • Includes: product name, quantity sold, and total sales by item.

  • Use this for: optimizing your inventory and highlighting top-performers.

4. Customer Summary (CSV)

A report of your most loyal customers and spenders.

  • Includes: customer names, order count, and total spend.

  • Use this for: retention campaigns, loyalty programs, or marketing outreach.


⏰ Scheduling Reports

Each report type includes a “Schedule this Report” option. Click it to set up automated delivery to your email inbox — perfect for weekly team check-ins or performance reviews.
