✏️ How to Edit an Order

Editing a pending order

If you ever need to make changes to a customer’s order — such as adding or removing items — it’s important to do so before the order is accepted. Once an order status changes from Pending to Accepted, it is locked and can no longer be edited.

🛠️ Edit a Pending Order

  1. Open the order:
    Go to Orders > Active Orders in your SauceyDirect Merchant Portal and click the order number (or the 👁️ icon) to open the order details page.

  2. Click “Edit Order”:
    If the order status is Pending, you’ll see an Edit Order button in the bottom left corner of the order screen.

  3. Make changes:

    • Use the – / + buttons next to products already in the cart to increase or decrease quantities.

    • Use the Search bar to add new items that aren’t already included in the order.

  4. Save your changes:
    Once you’ve updated the order, click Save to confirm.

  5. Accept the order:
    After saving, review the order details one final time and click Accept Order to lock in the changes and start the fulfillment process.

⚠️ Important: After you click Accept Order, no further edits can be made. Double-check quantities, items, and pricing before accepting.
