Sales Reports & Analytics

Learn how to track, total sales transactions for completed appointments, including services and products sold.

Accessing Sales Analytics

To get started, click on Reports & Analytics in the left-hand sidebar and select Sales. You will find three main tabs: Analytics, Report, and Finance Statement.

Filtering and Comparing Sales

Before diving into the data, use the top filter bar to narrow your results:

  • Time Period: Toggle between Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or a Custom Range to view daily, weekly, or monthly sales.

  • Salon Location: If you have multiple branches, use the Location dropdown to see data for one specific salon or all locations at once.

  • Comparison: Click the + Compare button to stack your current performance against a previous period (e.g., this month vs. last month).

Navigating the Sales Tabs

Analytics Tab

This is your visual dashboard for a quick "health check" of your business.

  • Performance Metrics: View your Total Services Sold, Total No. of Appointments, and Average Sale Value.

  • Sales Over Time: A line and bar graph combo that highlights revenue peaks throughout the week.

  • Revenue Summary: Clearly see your Total Gross Sales vs. Total Net Sales.

Report Tab (Detailed Breakdown)

The Report tab provides a line-by-line list of every transaction.

  • Detailed Views: Use the dropdown to switch between Total Paid Sales, Retail Product Sales, or Package/Membership Sales.

  • Service & Staff Filtering: You can see which staff member performed a service and which specific service (e.g., "Full Groom" vs. "Nail Clip") generated the revenue.

  • Client Spending: Track specific client activity, including how many pets they brought in and their total spend for the period.

Finance Statement Tab

This is the "accounting" view, essential for reconciling your books.

  • Payment Methods: See a breakdown of revenue by Cash, Bank Transfer, or Credit/Debit Card.

  • Savvy Pay: Monitor specific Savvy Pay payouts, including card machine transactions vs. online bookings.

  • Tips & Fees: View Total Tips collected and any processing fees (like Savvy Pay Fees) deducted from your payout.

Advanced Features & Tracking

Tracking Deposits and Payments

  • Completed vs. Pending: In the Finance Statement, you can view "Of which are paid" vs. "Of which are unpaid" to identify outstanding balances.

  • Online Booking Revenue: Monitor revenue specifically generated through your online portal to see how many clients are self-booking.

Analysing No-Shows and Cancellations

Head to the Dashboard overview to see the Total Appointments chart. This compares Paid appointments against Cancellations, helping you visualise the financial impact of missed spots.

Exporting and Automation

  • Exporting Data: Click the Export icon (usually located near the filter bar) to download your sales data as a CSV or Excel file for your accountant. COMING...

  • Automated Emails: You can schedule these reports to be sent to your inbox daily or weekly via the Settings gear icon in the top right. COMING...

Troubleshooting Missing Data

If your sales figures look incorrect:

  1. Check Filters: Ensure you haven't accidentally filtered for a specific location or a very narrow date range.

  2. Payment Status: Ensure appointments have been marked as Checked Out or Paid. Revenue often won't appear in the "Paid" reports until the transaction is finalised.

  3. Refresh: If you just processed a payment, give the system a moment to sync or refresh your browser.
