Services & Products Reports & Analytics

Learn how to track, total services and products sold.

Accessing Services & Products Analytics

To access these reports, use the navigation menu on the left side of your screen:

  1. Locate the Reports & Analytics sidebar.

  2. Click on Services & Products.

Analytics Highlights Dashboard

The Analytics tab offers a high-level summary of your sales performance for both grooming services and retail products.

Sales Performance Cards

  • Average Amount Spent Per Appointment (Only Services): Tracks the average revenue generated from grooming services per booking (e.g., GBP 45.89).

  • Average Amount Spent Per Appointment (Only Products): Tracks the average revenue generated from retail sales per booking.

  • Average No. of Services/Products Sold Per Appointment: Shows the typical volume of items included in a single visit.

Customer Trends

Identify your most popular offerings across different client segments:

  • Most Service Sold (Among Existing Customers): Identifies the top service for repeat clients (e.g., Cockerpoo Full groom (Medium Sized)).

  • Most Service Sold (Among New Customers): Highlights what first-time clients are most frequently booking.

Detailed Reporting Tools

Switch to the Report tab to view itemised data for your business. Use the "You are viewing" dropdown menu to toggle between different views:

1. Services Report

This view provides a breakdown of every grooming service performed within your selected timeframe. Columns include:

  • Service Name: The specific breed or grooming type (e.g., English Cocker Spaniel, Bearded Collie).

  • Unit Price: The base cost for that service.

  • Tax (10% GST): The calculated tax for the service.

  • Total Sales Qty: The total number of times this service was performed.

  • Client Segmentation: A breakdown of sales quantity between Existing customers and New customers.

2. Products Report

This view focuses on retail items sold at your shop. It includes:

  • Product Name: The specific item sold.

  • Net Amount: Total revenue generated by that product after tax.

  • Total Sales Qty: Volume of product units sold.

Managing Your View

Use the controls at the top right of the dashboard to customise the data you see:

  • Location Dropdown: Ensure you are viewing data for the correct shop (e.g., Kirsty's K9 kuts Dog Grooming).

  • Date Range Selector: Filter data by specific periods, such as the Last 7 days.

  • Compare Button: Use this to benchmark current performance against previous periods.
