Accessing Customer & Pet Analytics
To view your customer and pet data, navigate to the sidebar on the left side of your dashboard:
Locate the Reports & Analytics menu.
Select Customers & Pets from the list of available reports.
Understanding Analytics Highlights
The Analytics tab provides a high-level summary of your customer base and booking trends:
Key Highlights
Avg Spend Per Customer: The average revenue generated per unique client (e.g., GBP 59.00).
Customer Frequency: View the average number of customers serviced per Day, Week, and Month to monitor shop volume.
Avg No. of Pets Per Appointment: Tracks how many pets are typically brought in per booking (e.g., 1 Pet).
Pet Demographics
This section breaks down the most frequent types of pets serviced at your location:
Top Pet Breed: (e.g., Shih-tzu)
Top Pet Size: (e.g., Medium)
Top Fur Length: (e.g., Curly / Wavy / Fleece Coat)
Top Customer Touchpoints
Identify where your customers are finding your business. For example, if Google shows a 100% value, it indicates all current tracked customers discovered your shop via search.
Detailed Reporting Tools
Switch to the Report tab to view granular data on specific client groups. Use the "You are viewing" dropdown menu to toggle between different datasets:
1. Existing Customers & Pets
This list displays clients who have booked appointments at your shop more than once. Data columns include:
Profile Created On: The date the customer was added to your system.
Customer & Pet(s): Names of the owners and their animals.
Total Spent: Cumulative revenue from that specific client.
Total no. of appointments: How many times they have visited.
Last Appointment: The date of their most recent visit.
2. New Customers & Pets
This view focuses on clients who have booked their first-ever appointment at your shop.
Example: A new customer like "Kathy Francis" may show a profile creation date of "Mon, Feb 23, 2026" with a first appointment scheduled for "Sat, Mar 28, 2026".
Filtering and Searching
To find specific information within your reports, use the following tools located at the top of the report table:
Search Bar: Type a name or appointment detail to find a specific record quickly.
Filter Button: Use the filter icon to narrow down results by specific criteria.
Date Range Selector: Located at the top right, this allows you to view data for specific periods, such as the Last 7 days.
Note: If you manage multiple business locations, ensure you have the correct shop selected in the Location dropdown at the top of the page.
