Mobile Groomers' top tips

There are a number of ways we have seen Savvy Pet Spa used to get the most out of the available functionality to help mobile groomers.

Utilising the customer's last name field

Ensuring no customer last name variables are used in any message templates, you can add at the start of the last name, the postcode of the customer

This means you can

  • Search by postcode in the top search bar

  • See the postcode on the appointment in the calendar (do you have the new view enabled? 'show more' in calendar settings)

Utilising users/ groomers for locations

Adding a user/ groomer for each location can help ensure your clients book the right area on the right days.

Create users such as

  • First Name: Location

  • Last name: .

This means you can

  • Select in online booking for clients to select the 'groomer', which is now the location name

  • Each user can have their hours entered, with the staff rota or users' working hours, if you follow the same schedule each week

  • You can use users/ groomer colours in your diary to see where you are on a given day

Utilising Flags

Adding flags for each location you service, you can then assign them to your customers' profiles.

This means you can

  • Send a message to all customers in one location

    • to potentially fill a late cancellation

  • See the flag in the appointment on the calendar and within the customer's profile
