Your reminders can be sent via SMS or via email or both.
You can send as many reminders as you need to, for example, one a week before and another 24 hours before an appointment.
Reminders are fully customisable, so you can make them your own
Go to settings in the top right cog

In here, set the, schedule, then click to view and edit the email and SMS templates
If you do not want an email/ SMS to be sent, clear the body of text; only the Email/SMS with text in the body will attempt to be sent.
Reminders can also be sent as 'miss you' reminders that make sure your clients never forget to rebook. There are also pet birthday reminders and deposit reminders too!
When an appointment is created, the reminder is automatically generated at that time.
Schedule, appointments created while the schedule is set will hold these settings; updating the schedule will only affect newly created appointments
If the appointment is later swapped to someone else, the reminder will not automatically update to reflect the new name. To avoid any confusion in the future, I recommend either cancelling the original appointment or creating a new appointment with the new details, ensuring that the reminder is manually updated. This will help prevent any discrepancies in the reminders sent out.
