No light comes on on the device

What to do if the light on your diffuser doesn't come on, and how to still connect it to the app.

If no light comes on on your diffuser, that does not mean it's broken. It just means it's not yet connected to the app.

Step 1: Check that the device is turned on

Connect the diffuser via the power cable or insert batteries.
Set the black slider switch on the side to the right position:

  • Power = use with cable

  • Battery = use with batteries

After connecting, you should hear a short beep within 2 seconds.
Don't hear anything? Try the power cable first, your batteries might be empty.

If you don't hear a beep with the power cable either, something else might be going on. Please contact our customer service and ask for an agent. They can take a look with you or help over the phone.

Step 2: Connect the diffuser to the right app

Make sure you've downloaded the Scentech app (via the App Store or Google Play Store).
Note: some customers received an old manual mentioning a different app. Only the Scentech app works properly.

Step 3: Pair the diffuser via the app

  1. Open the Scentech app

  2. Click "Welcome"

  3. You'll see the device appear (usually named A1-V3)

  4. Click it to connect

If it works, you'll now hear five short beeps in a row
→ you're now connected
→ the blue light turns on

Step 4: Set up the diffuser via the app

Once paired, you can set everything up right away.
Here's how to create a scent schedule:

  • Give your diffuser a recognizable name, like "Living Room"

  • Click the plus icon to create a scent schedule

    • Choose the days it should be active (e.g. Monday through Friday)

    • Set the times (e.g. 07:00 to 09:00 or 17:00 to 22:00)

    • Choose the desired intensity (the higher, the stronger the scent)

You can create multiple schedules, for example one for the morning and one for the evening.

Still can't connect, or does the light stay off despite these steps? Please contact our customer service and ask for an agent, we're happy to help you further.
