Common issues with the Scentech Pro Diffuser and how to fix them

In this article, you'll find the most common issues with the Scentech Pro Diffuser (A326) and how to easily fix them yourself before contacting support.

1. No scent is coming out of the diffuser

This is the most common issue. Check the following:

  • Is the device turned on?

    Press the power button. If the display isn't lit, the device is off.

  • Is there still scent oil in the bottle?

    If the bottle is nearly empty, the pump can no longer draw up oil.

  • Is the misting nozzle clogged?

    Over time, scent residue can dry up inside it.

    Solution: fill a bottle with alcohol, run the diffuser for 5–10 minutes, and let the system flush itself clean.

  • Is the small scent pin (atomizing core) missing or damaged?

    It sits on top of the blue bottle. If it's missing or bent, the device won't work properly.

  • Is the pump broken?

    In that case you usually won't hear any clicking or humming sound. If so, please contact us.

2. The scent is much weaker than usual

Is the scent still being released, just less strongly? Check the following:

  • The misting nozzle may be partly clogged.

    Flush the device as described above.

  • The device isn't standing upright.

    Tilting or leaning can block the airflow.

  • The actual scent intensity is set lower than you think.

    Check in the app whether the “Grade” setting is lower than usual.

  • The scent pin (atomizing core) may be worn out.

    With heavy use, it sometimes needs to be replaced.

3. The diffuser makes a strange noise

A light humming or clicking sound is normal. But check the following if it's louder than usual:

  • The pump is loose or damaged.

    Gently tighten the pump, or contact us if the noise doesn't go away.

  • The device is wobbly or unstable.

    Make sure it's standing on a flat surface.

4. The diffuser is leaking oil

Oil leaks are almost always caused by position or sealing:

  • The device isn't standing upright.

    Once the diffuser tilts, oil can escape through the system.

  • The bottle isn't screwed on properly.

    Check that the bottle is firmly attached.

  • The rubber ring (seal gasket) is damaged.

    Replace it if it has any cracks.

5. The display or controls aren't working

If the screen doesn't respond:

  • Check that the power is connected (when using the adapter).

  • Try a different power source or a different adapter.

  • If only the screen is broken but the device still works, contact us via chat

6. The diffuser sprays or drips oil

This mostly happens when:

  • The device was tilted.

  • The bottle wasn't screwed on properly.

  • The atomizing head is damaged

Solution: stand the device upright, tighten everything firmly, and clean the system with alcohol.
