How do I clean my Scentech diffuser?
Regular cleaning keeps your diffuser in top condition and ensures optimal scent diffusion. This article applies to all Scentech diffusers: the Smart Aroma Diffuser, the Smart Aroma Diffuser Pro, and the Smart Aroma Diffuser 2.0.
When should you clean it?
When you switch scents.
When diffusion becomes less effective.
At least once a month with daily use.
What do you need?
A soft, dry cloth or cotton swab
Optional: a small amount of alcohol (70%) for stubborn residue
Cleaning steps
Turn off the diffuser and unplug it from the power adapter.
Remove the bottle with scent oil from the diffuser.
Clean the mist head with a dry cloth or cotton swab. Remove any oil residue around the opening.
For stubborn residue: dip a cotton swab in a bit of alcohol and gently clean the opening.
Let the mist head dry completely before using the diffuser again.
Wipe the outside of the diffuser with a dry cloth.
Put the bottle back and close the diffuser.
Important tips
Do not use water to clean the mist head, as this can damage the atomizer.
Never submerge the diffuser in liquid.
Don't use abrasive cleaning wipes or harsh cleaning products.
