How can I upload my CV?

Step 1: Access Your Profile

  • Log in to your account.

  • Once logged in, navigate to your Profile section. You can usually find this option in the top navigation bar or by clicking on your profile icon.


Step 2: Locate the Resume Section

  • On your profile page, scroll down to the Resume section.

  • The Resume section is typically labeled as "Resume" or something similar, and it may indicate that uploading a resume is required.


Step 3: Click the Upload Button

  • In the Resume section, look for an option to upload your resume. This is often labeled as:

    • "Upload another version"

    • "Add Resume"

    • "Upload Resume"

  • Click on this button to start the upload process.


Step 4: Select Your Resume File

  • After clicking the upload button, a file selection dialog box will open.

  • Navigate to the location on your computer where your resume is saved.

  • Select the resume file you want to upload. Ensure it is in a supported format (e.g., PDF, DOC, DOCX).


Step 5: Confirm the Upload

  • Once you have selected the file, confirm the upload by clicking the appropriate button (e.g., "Open," "Select," or "Upload").

  • The system will begin processing the file. You may see a progress indicator or a message confirming that the upload is in progress.


Step 6: Verify the Upload

  • After the upload is complete, your resume should appear in the Resume section of your profile.

  • Check that the file name or details are displayed correctly.

  • If the upload was successful, you should see a confirmation message or a green checkmark next to the resume.


Step 7: Optional: Update Resume

  • If you need to update your resume in the future, simply repeat the process by clicking the "Upload another version" button.

  • This allows you to replace the existing resume with a newer or updated version.


Additional Tips

  • File Format: Ensure your resume is in a common format like PDF, DOC, or DOCX for compatibility.

  • File Size: Keep the file size reasonable to avoid upload issues.

  • Required Field: If the Resume section is marked as required , make sure to upload your resume to complete your profile.

  • Preview: Some platforms allow you to preview your uploaded resume before finalizing the upload. Use this feature to ensure the document looks correct.


Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Upload Failed: If the upload fails, check the file format and size. Try uploading a different version of the file.

  • No Resume Displayed: If your resume does not appear after upload, refresh the page or try logging out and back in.

  • Technical Issues: If you encounter persistent issues, contact the platform’s support team for assistance.

Use "Get CV Tips" with AI

  • Before uploading or after viewing your current resume, look for the "Get CV Tips" button.

  • Clicking this allows the platform’s AI assistant to analyze your resume and provide:

    • Suggestions for improvement

    • Formatting tips

    • Keywords optimization

    • Highlighting missing key sections (e.g., summary, skills, experience)

By following these simple steps, you can successfully upload your CV to Scrub Valley and make your profile complete.
